Keynote: The Brave New World

In the 80’s and 90’s it was the big bad mall and the threat of big box stores‚Äč that brought BIAs into existence‚Äč. In 2018 the price of land values and the opportunities of air space and residential density are the new threat to our commercial neighbourhoods. Paul will explore the topics of neighbourhood plans, property valuation, 'highest and best use', taxation, and the impacts these factors have on our current retail mix.
